Project Request

Project Request Requirements

Live Events (For example, a live event would be a scheduled speaker/lecturer, symphony, sporting event, any event streamed online, or special/news events):

  • Requests must be received at least 2 weeks in advance of the live or streamed event.
  • A request does not mean an event has been accepted. You will be contacted for confirmation that we have accepted the event by email, and the date is scheduled on our calendar.
  • If your project is rejected due to your requested deadline or a scheduling conflict, we will notify you immediately by email or phone.
  • We cannot accept all projects. If a project is not requested in a timely manner, or provided to us with the necessary information, or a reasonable deadline, we cannot accommodate your request.
  • The request form must be completed in its entirety.

Other Video Production (Produced and edited videos):

  • Requests must be received within a timely manner, in order for us to complete the project. On average, production for one video takes two to three weeks.
  • A request does not mean an event has been accepted. You will be contacted for confirmation that we have accepted the project by email.
  • If your project is rejected due to your requested deadline or a scheduling conflict, we will notify you immediately by email or phone.
  • We cannot accept all projects. If a project is not requested in a timely manner, or provided to us with the necessary information, or a reasonable deadline, or we are not provided with an initial meeting to discuss details of the project with you and/or your client, we cannot accommodate your request.
  • The request form must be completed in its entirety.
  • During a project, we will establish deadlines for materials to complete your project. This includes: graphics, script, names/titles for lower thirds, pictures, videos, as well as scheduling the interviews and video footage. If you do not meet these deadlines we cannot complete your project on time.
  • We will try to accommodate your request at all costs; however, we have many clients and many projects currently in progress, and it is important for you as our client to work within our process, so we may deliver to you the highest quality product.
  • Scripting Process – The MDC must be part of the script development process.  Script writing for video is different than writing for an article or paper. We will need to be part of and help provide guidance on any video project we are involved. A script drives the project, and improper execution adds time, complicates, and extends the edit and video gathering process. Script timing and script video content define how long the project will take to produce. If we cannot be involved upfront then we will not be able to accept or be able to complete your project on deadline.

Please note: we cannot accept projects if the previous requirements have not been met.

Please note that this is a request form only for video. To request photography services, please submit the photography request form.
